“Wait Till He Leaves Ayesha”: NBA Fans Take Shots At Steph Curry Opting To Wear Nike Shoes After Under Armour Split

Steph Curry showed up in Nike shoes after ending his long partnership with Under Armour, and NBA Fans treated it like the biggest plot twist of the month. The moment photos surfaced, jokes flew faster than a Curry heat-check.

@JustFreshKicks kept it simple with, “Dawg he couldn’t wait to leave Under Armour.” And it didn’t stop there. The move opened the door for louder jokes about Curry’s personal life, with @kushspatel dropping, “wait till he leaves Ayesha.” That one hit the timeline like a corner three, sharp and chaotic.

Another fan, @ConfuEth, took it even further by saying, “New girl at every game would be some @LewisHamilton type move.”

And because he mentioned a known pattern with Hamilton’s past relationships, the comparison landed easily with NBA Fans watching from the sidelines.

People online react this way because big stars switching brands often mark the end of an era. Dwyane Wade did it when he left Jordan for Li-Ning, and Kobe’s shift from Adidas to Nike changed his whole signature line.

Now it’s Curry’s turn, and NBA Fans made sure the moment felt big. The jokes, the noise, the wild comments—they all show how locked-in people are to every little detail of his image. And with Curry entering the later stage of his career, even a simple sneaker choice becomes a headline.

Step Curry’s Foul call was Foul to NBA Fans

Steph Curry had another rough night against Houston on November 28, with Golden State falling 104-100. A clip of Curry getting shaken up after a foul call spread fast, and NBA Fans reacted with the same tired frustration they’ve carried for years whenever he faces the Rockets.

One comment that stood out came from @jinthirty, who wrote, “It’s always the fucking Rockets hurting Steph Curry like this and the league just fucking allows it,” alongside the clip

The post captured how fans feel about these matchups. They’ve seen enough chippy games between these teams to know the pattern.

Another fan, @K3nzero, added to the annoyance, saying, “Worst, the league says CURRY FOULS ! Foul with his chest on the oponent elbow.”

That line became the rallying cry under the clip, with many NBA Fans feeling the call didn’t make sense based on what they saw.

Then came the simple, blunt take from @TheRealAubreezy, who said, “Old age!”

It was short but direct, and a lot of NBA Fans echoed the same feeling. Some NBA Fans blamed the officiating, some blamed Houston, and others pointed to Curry’s age. What ties them together is the sense that every rough landing now carries more weight.

Golden State needed that win, and the Rockets rivalry has never been kind. And when Curry takes a hit like that, the conversation from NBA Fans becomes bigger than the play itself.
