Austin Reaves had NBA fans cracking up after joking about the James family swap, with LeBron still on the mend for his sciatica.
After the Lakers beat the Bucks 119-95, Reaves said:
“How about Bronny James starting in the NBA and LeBron’s assigned to the G-League? That’s awesome.”

Reporters laughed. Fans online lost it.
One said, “That deserved a much bigger laugh from the reporters.”
Another added, “Watch your mouth buddy.”
A third wrote, “The swap we never knew we needed?”
Bronny started his first game of the season. LeBron played for the South Bay Lakers while rehabbing. Bronny didn’t score in 10 minutes.
“I would like him more”: NBA fans react after parody account trolls Bronny before Bucks game
Bronny’s start had the internet buzzing, and NBA Centel, a parody account, had fun with a fake quote.
“Bronny James reportedly walked past the Bucks’ locker room and told Giannis, ‘lace ‘em up, it’s gonna be a long night’,” the post said.

Fans ran with it.
One wrote, “Unironically would be funny if he actually did this and I would like him more.”

Another said, “Bronny bout to show Giannis what an MVP looks like.”
A third added, “yall gotta chill.”
The jokes landed even though the Bucks did lose 119-95. Giannis still put up 32 points, so Bronny didn’t really have much to show compared to the parody account’s dig.
