NBA fans are scratching their heads after a viral clip showed a woman giving unsolicited advice about Ayesha Curry’s love life — and why she supposedly shouldn’t have settled down with Steph Curry.
The video, posted Saturday by @WorldDarkWeb, features a woman insisting Ayesha should’ve gone through a “ho phase” instead of committing early.
Her blunt advice: “Be a ho. But be a safe ho, though. Protect yourself and don’t get pregnant.”
She argued Ayesha never experienced heartbreak or struggle with Steph, which, in her view, explains why Ayesha doesn’t fully appreciate what she has and why she seeks attention elsewhere.
NBA fans weren’t buying it.

@Evo404ATL reacted harshly: “For the millionth time, BW bring no value to this world. Most of them are useless and a bunch of hoes. This is the MAIN reason why they marry at a 1 in 4 rate.”

Others pushed back.
@YMDgento noted, “Her life would be way more miserable. Of course that’s the advice she’d give her.”
And @JamelHerring added, “I wish I would tell my damn daughters to take this type of advice. grandmother would be rolling in her grave and backflips.”
Steph and Ayesha Curry, married since July 2011, share four children — Riley, Ryan, Canon, and Caius.
Over the years, they’ve faced public scrutiny, rumors, and career pressure, all while Steph rose into a four-time NBA champion with the Warriors. That history is why many fans dismissed the advice outright.
“What goals?”: NBA fans question Ayesha Curry’s motives in her relationship with Steph Curry
The conversation didn’t stop there.
Fans resurfaced Ayesha’s past comments about marriage, kids, and ambition, particularly from her appearance on the Call Her Daddy podcast with Alex Cooper.

During the episode, Ayesha admitted: “No, I didn’t want kids. I didn’t want to get married. I thought I was going to be a ‘career girl’ and that’s it.”
That quote reignited criticism.
@karenziemmanue4 asked, “What goals? Being a hoe?”
@LewisPike_ claimed, “If we keeping it real she is jealous of Steph. Nothing else to read into.”
And @sinceoctober95 summed it up: “Basically she’s saying she’s bored in her marriage and got married too young and didn’t get to live out her hoe phase like most women in their early 20’s.”
Whether fair or not, the reactions highlight how little patience NBA fans have when outsiders try to rewrite a marriage that’s lasted more than a decade under the spotlight.
