Ayesha Curry’s recent Call Her Daddy interview has stirred up major buzz, with NBA fans speculating that Steph Curry’s wife might be hinting at wanting out of her marriage to the four-time NBA champion.
During her chat with host Alex Cooper, Ayesha got surprisingly honest — and it didn’t take long for social media to run wild.
“No. So I didn’t want kids. I didn’t want to get married,” she said. “I thought I was going to be ‘career girl,’ and that’s it.”

She mentioned that Steph often struggles to understand her perspective, but that didn’t stop fans from dissecting her words. One viral post even suggested Ayesha “needs a hoe phase” to keep things interesting.
One fan wrote, “It’s not her, it’s the husband… he doesn’t give her sleepless nights. He needs to step out, have a couple of kids with unknown women or something. She’s too comfortable and that’s because he laid her there!”
Another added, “i hate to say it, but youre right. a woman will never desire to leave what is mysterious. she will only leave once there is certainty. steph provides certainty in the sense that she never has to wonder what each day will bring, because it will probably be exactly like yesterday.”
Some think Ayesha might simply be expressing how marriage has evolved for her, while others believe she’s subtly hinting for Steph to slow down his basketball career. For years, the Currys have been viewed as one of the NBA’s most grounded couples — which is why this interview has fans talking nonstop.

NBA fans feel that there is more to what Ayesha Curry said
The comments section exploded after Ayesha’s interview, with many speculating about tension behind the scenes.
“The divorce settlement is gonna be massive,” one NBA fan joked.
Another wrote, “Steph definitely cheated on her…”
And a third added, “What a brat. She’s filthy rich. She could’ve hired help and pursued a career if she wanted to. She’s using Steph as an excuse.”
It might just be social media jumping the gun, but the conversation definitely lit a fire. For a couple long seen as rock-solid, Ayesha’s honesty has everyone wondering what’s really going on behind the scenes.
