The Milwaukee Bucks and the Oklahoma City Thunder had a bit of a scrap during their game on Wednesday. However, NBA fans made fun of what’s supposed to be a tension-filled moment.
In the third quarter of the game, Cason Wallace collided with Bobby Portis, which was initially called a pushing foul on Portis.
What made the situation funny was the fact that Wallace was sent reeling from bumping into Portis.
@yak_redacted noticed the growing tension and wrote, “Look at Lu Dort, he cant wait to get a chance to hurt somebody.”

Others took shots at Wallace instead. @clarkisking1 mocked him, saying, “Get in the gym Caseoh.”
Meanwhile, @CMSaysStuff believed Wallace was selling the contact, adding, “Cason flopped to try and draw a foul on the push.”

In the end, it was the Thunder who took the 122-102 win on the road at the back of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s 40-point outing.
“Absolutely disgusting”: NBA fans react to Bobby Portis’ shove on Cason Wallace
As the NBA fans shared their comments on the collision between Bobby Portis and Cason Wallace, they also noticed something different.
As Wallace was moving up the court, Portis looked to have positioned himself for the bump on Wallace. It appears that it was part of him showing his frustrations after the Thunder forward ignored Portis when he fell after Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s stepback jumper.

With Portis’ foul going into a review by the officials, Portis’ bump with Wallace was upgraded to a flagrant one, while Wallace’s retaliation was met with an unsportsmanlike foul after the review.
Some NBA fans have shown agreement to the call while others focused on Portis’ action afterwards.
@RudyReaper focused on the call itself, saying, “I’m looking at the foul the ref called on Porter. Absolutely disgusting.”
Others felt Portis showed restraint. @cosmicdawg9 replied, “Bobby has matured. He would’ve beat the breaks off him and even Lou Dort for staring at him funny years ago.”
@Jmh542 pointed out the physical mismatch, writing, “Shows the strength difference between 6’3 and 6’9 lol.”

What started as a routine collision turned into one of the most talked-about sequences of the night — just not for the reasons anyone expected.
