NBA fans are massively trolling Brandin Podziemski after the player revealed that his goal is to become better than his teammate, Steph Curry. Podziemski and Curry are fresh off a season-opening win against the Lakers who played without LeBron James. However, fans are busy talking about Podziemski’s remarks more than the actual win itself.
Most fans felt that Podziemski is clearly reaching for something which is frankly unattainable, while others have advised the young player to aim for the other Curry in the league, that is Seth, instead of Steph. Still others felt that Podziemski is not wrong to dream big and he might even shock the NBA world by going beyond what Steph Curry has done to the game.

“I want to be better than him, I think that’s a tall task, but I want to maximize my talent in the league and get as much out of it as I can.”

“And I wanna be a millionaire” one fan commented on Brandin Podziemski’s statements.
“his goal should be stephs best teammate, not ‘better than steph’ thats the mentality kuminga had, at some point you have to have some mental discipline” another fan rightly noted.
“Ambition is cute till you realize Steph changed basketball forever. Podz better start by outshooting Klay in practice first (skull emoji)” one more fan reacted to Podz’ comments.
Brandin Podziemski is right now playing his second season with the Warriors. While the player has definitely proven himself to be a talent, he still has miles to go before he can even start comparing himself to Steph Curry, who is often debated to be the GOAT in the NBA today.
NBA Fans Continue To Deride Brandin Podziemski For Steph Curry Remarks
NBA fans are clearly not ready to let this go as they continue to troll Brandin Podziemski for saying that he wants to be better than Steph Curry. The comments section was majorly peppered with remarks that Podz should not even dream of something like this.

“Steph has a better left hand than Podz and Podz is left handed (woozy face) Until Podz learns how to hit a stepback or develops a handle, being better than Steph is the LEAST of his concerns.” a fan pointed out.
“Dream big bud but you’ll be lucky to not be playing for the Shanghai sharks in 3 years” one fan shared.
“Gotta know your limits…that’s a rare talent. Mfs can work as hard as they want, never seeing Steph heights.” another fan stated.
Of course, there was the occasional positive reaction that anything is possible with hard work and luck. Still, the odds of Podz becoming better than Steph Curry are slim at this point. Meanwhile, Podziemski and the Warriors will be working to build on their opening win in the upcoming game.
