NBA Fans are left wondering after Tuesday’s reports revealed a possible trade target for Ja Morant, the Miami Heat. However, Fans couldn’t help but find the choice amusing, even bringing up Morant’s antics with guns.

One X/Twitter user, @Laredo, went straight to the point and wrote, “Handguns allowed there,” referencing how Miami and the state of Florida allow users of legal age to carry guns without the need for permits. User @jfberke didn’t hold back and posted, “Makes sense, a very wholesome city with absolutely no distractions,” leaving a sarcastic approach.

Meanwhile, many NBA Fans were left wondering about the high-stakes Morant speculation, but of course, with a mix of his gun-related issues.

“Of course this mf wanna go to Miami [cry emoji],” one user wrote.

“Ja Morant in Miami on the court would be dope AF. Ja Morant in Miami off the court could be dangerous AF,” one user remarked, approving of Morant’s skills but showing concerns when he’s not on the court.

“He got no business being down there,” one user posted.

“Facts he needs to be in Utah somewhere with unattractive white woman and no alcohol,” one user boldly joked, bringing the Utah Jazz up as a hilarious trade target for Morant.

It doesn’t come as a surprise to many NBA Fans if Memphis really wants Morant out. After all, he has been notorious on and off the court. On the latter, he has been fined by the league multiple times due to his mimicking gun gestures in games in previous seasons. NBA Fans also knew well how Morant was suspended in 2023 due to him flashing guns on social media.

However, NBA Fans have also noticed Morant’s poor performance in his past games, which most led to painful losses for the Grizzlies. Such has also led the Fans into thinking if Memphis really is ready to move on from their once-star.

NBA Fans looking forward to Ja Morant’s arrival on Miami

Meanwhile, some NBA Fans are hoping for Ja Morant to indeed land with the Heat, approving of his electric skills on the court.

One page, @HeatvsHaters, is one of the awaiting hopefuls, writing, “The Heat really are destination merchants [fire emoji],”  believing that Miami is the perfect site for struggling players like Morant to develop again. User @Johnn_Miichael also looks forward to the speculations, commenting, “Big move brewing in the East [palm and lightning emoji].”

While the Morant to Miami thing remains a mere possibility for many NBA Fans, all eyes are on both sides whether they will turn this into reality.
