NBA Fans pulled no punches this Monday after pointing out to Jamal Murray after being named as a Reserve for the upcoming All-Star Games in February 15. Via interview, Murray revealed how he had “lost interest” on the Games and will rather “go on vacation if that’s the basketball we’re going to be playing,” implicitly arguing for rougher plays in the ASG.
NBA Fans, quickly hearing of this, gave insights on the matter. User @BIGO356 doesn’t buy with Murray’s words unless he does something, arguing, “Come out and play hard then. Set the tone.”

However, while a good idea, NBA Fans don’t think the user’s insight won’t work in today’s All-Star. User @4oee___ immediately went real and wrote, “We’ve seen players attempt this over the years only for it to get squandered by the other 8-9 players ruining it.”
More NBA Fans continued sharing their own wisdom on what they see as a lack of physicality in today’s All-Star Games. Fans also called on Murray, hoping he can change what Fans have been seeing as disappointing so far.
“Set the tempo then next week,” one user wrote.
“Set the tone when you get in the game,” another user remarked.
“Jamal keeping it real Wants to play hard, not just put on a show respect,” one user posted.
“He speaks for millions. Last decent all star game was with Kobe,” one user wrote.

At this point, almost all NBA Fans have realized that things have indeed changed in the All-Star Games, mainly, the physicality. For many, the brutal games against the league’s best of the best vanished over time, and many Fans couldn’t help but point out how the ball has been played throughout the years.
While NBA Fans had many players to blame to the league’s changing styles, some remain hopeful that the NBA will give fans another chance to see defense rule over the court once more.
NBA Fans believe rightful player has been snubbed from the ASG
On the other hand, NBA Fans have raised the perfect player to fulfill their hopes of bringing physicality to the All-Star Games, and that is none other than the notorious Dillon Brooks. However, the league has denied the Fans from their hopes, leading them to rant over in the comments.

User @hoodie0low went straight to the point, writing, “He [Brooks] would set a tone to bring back that old all star game feeling. Pure competition and intensity.”
User @joshegbuna had the same idea, commenting, “they should’ve made Dillon Brooks an All-Star for this reason alone.”
For now, NBA Fans won’t see Brooks in that All-Star jersey, but this won’t stop them from voting over the guy in the following seasons.
