Charles Barkley may have just confirmed what many NBA fans have been trying to deny for quite some time now.
In his appearance on the Tom Tolbert Show, Barkley didn’t hold back.
“They had one of the greatest runs in NBA history but it’s over,” he said, adding, “They’re just old. Steph is on the Mount Rushmore but he gonna keep breaking down. I don’t think Jimmy is the same player and Draymond definitely not the same player.”

The blunt reality check hit hard, but fans weren’t buying it.
@JLewis562 fired back, “Barkley been doubting the Warriors for a whole dynasty.”

@30sznnnn stayed firm: “As long as steph and jimmy on the team there is always a chance and nobody can change my mind about that.”
And @Jaleel_est90 reminded everyone, “He been a hater, he said that in 2022 and warriors won… never heard him say the Spurs during their dynasty run they’re done. He though denver would win 2 they didnt. He thought Clippers were going to win a ring. Still hasnt and ofc the Suns you know he was sad after KD no ring.”
Golden State sits 8th in the West at 14-15, far from dominant but still in the mix.
“This is how dynasties are built”: NBA fans shower Steve Kerr for his loyalty to Steph Curry
While Barkley sounded the alarm, Steve Kerr doubled down on his faith in Steph Curry. With his contract expiring after the season, Kerr told The Athletic: “I will never leave Steph Curry.”

Fans loved it.

@suitable_nucci added, “This the type of relationship we all pray for. Bless up mates.”
And @Glitchymagic praised the bond: “Loyalty like that is rare. Curry’s impact extends beyond stats; Kerr knows it.”
For the Warriors, the season has been rocky. For Barkley, the dynasty is done. But for Kerr — and plenty of fans — the story isn’t finished yet.
