NBA fans discussed on social media how Toronto Raptors rising star Brandon Ingram continues to prove this season to be his breakout season, and how his current girlfriend, artist GloRilla, may be the catalyst that “changed” him.
Over at X, NBA fans talked about how Brandon Ingram had been performing exceptionally well so far this season, and fans had one theory on who to thank for it: his girlfriend.

“Glorilla got that man acting different this season,” one fan said, adding in crying emojis.

Brandon Ingram appreciation post:
He’s leading the Raptors in scoring, his team is 9–1 over their last 10 games, and they’re 2nd in the East.
He remains one of the most underrated hoopers in the league 🔥

So far this season, Ingram has been averaging 20.9 points per game, 5.6 rebounds, and. 3.9 assists. He shoots 49.6% from the field, and 30.2% from beyond the arc.
For some fans, on the other hand, the surge in his performance could be attributed to him finally finding the right “system” for him.
“Ingram finally in a system that isn’t trying to turn him into Diet KD… look what happens,” one fan said.
Recently, Ingram got blasted by fans when he threw a fit on the court that even involved a non-player staff member. In one of their latest contests against the Philadelphia 76ers, Ingram was caught on video throwing a water bottle from the bench, which then bounced on the floor and hit his teammate Scottie Barnes in the face, splashing water everywhere.
Onlookers and fans on social media reacted swiftly, with many labeling it an immature tantrum and expecting the league’s possible discipline, guessing fines for something like that were usually in the low-thousands and can go up for repeat offenders.
In a later statement, Ingram admitted that the incident was the result of his “raw frustration,” and expressed regret over it. The league fined him $25,000, but no suspension was given.
NBA Fans Praise Brandon Ingram for Improvement
Over at X, NBA fans give credit to Brandon Ingram for what continues to look to be his breakout season. For most fans, this has been mostly because of how he has proven to be a perfect fit for the Raptors.

“Shooting over 50% career with over 15 FGA a game is pretty great for a non-center,” one fan said.

One fan highlighted how this all began as soon as he exited the New Orleans Pelicans.
“As soon as he got out of New Orleans he’s all a sudden a legit star player,” the fan said.
“People underestimated the difference of him being in the East and playing for the Raptors,” the fan said. Not all teams need his skill set. But Toronto didn’t have a half-court scorer since Kawhi left.”
As the regular season progresses, NBA fans are excited to see how much further Brandon Ingram can elevate the Raptors.
