NBA fans reacted to Dennis Schroder making a threat to Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic, in a recent blowout loss the former got from the latter.
Over at social media platform X, NBA fans poked fun at the threat Schoder issued towards Doncic, where he vowed to “best the s**t” out of the Slovenian player. For one fan, the display of toughness is funny.

However, Schroder’s threat fell flat when the Lakers routed the Kings 125-10. Doncic set the pace with a 34-point outburst and a highly efficient 24-point night from LeBron James. With the win, the Lakers are now lifted to a 20-10 standing.
Doncic set the tone early, pouring in 24 points by halftime as Los Angeles built a lead it never relinquished, while the Lakers’ balanced attack and hot shooting pushed the margin as high as 30 in the fourth quarter.
On the other end, Dennis Schroder was one of six Kings to reach double figures, contributing 11 points in a collective effort that still fell short against Los Angeles’ pressure. Sacramento suffered from sloppy ball security, which caused them opportunities to keep the game close despite contributions from DeMar DeRozan and rookie Maxime Raynaud.
In a post-game interview, Kings head coach Doug Christie admitted how the team’s lack of physicality and urgency led to missed opportunities against the Lakers.
“The product that we were putting out there just wasn’t there,” Christie told reporters after the game. “That obviously starts with me, always. We came in, and we weren’t grabbing hold and controlling. The level of physicality wasn’t to the level that we draw the line in the sand and say this is what it’s going to be.”
The Lakers, meanwhile, managed to improve their standing despite the issues they have faced in recent losses.

Over at X, NBA fans simply laughed off the way Dennis Schroder dissed Luka Doncic before the start of their recent game.

However, one fan thinks Schroder deserves more credit than fans are giving him.
“Hmm so far in his career he has the same amount of NBA championships as Luka and a whole lot more International Basketball Championships and MVPs,” the fan said. “I mean Luka is the NBA’s new darling but Dennis is an International Hall of Famer.”
So far this season, NBA fans have seen Luka Doncic rise as a more consistent star for the Lakers, along with other young talents like Austin Reaves.
