NBA fans are having a field day watching Dillon Brooks give Luka Doncic a high-five after the Lakers star dunked an impressive free throw. While many felt that Brooks was simply showing off pretty great sportsmanship, other fans felt that he must have bet on the game and on Doncic’s free throw as well.
Of course, others felt that Brooks had an ulterior motive when he high-fived the Slovenian player and that he passed on some bad mojo to Doncic. One fan even pointed out that Doncic did not have much luck with the ball after Brooks’ high-five.

“Dillon rubbed something for sure, Luka’s been turning over the ball so much after this” one fan noted.
“Dillon the Villain” one more fan said, sharing a picture of Brooks staring the camera villainously.
“Oh he got money on it” another fan speculated that Brooks had bets on the free throw.
While Brooks may have been delighted with Luka Doncic, his team still managed to beat the Lakers in brutal fashion. Of course, Doncic was the lead scorer for LA, with LeBron James seeming to have toned down his performance after making his season debut only a couple of games earlier.
NBA Fans Love Dillon Brooks’ High-Five
On another note, many NBA fans simply love that Dillon Brooks high-fived Luka Doncic after the free throw, which even caught the Slovenian by surprise. Some felt that Brooks was just being friendly and gentlemanly during such an intense game.
“Dillon Brooks really greeting Luka like it’s a charity event. Many turned a free throw into a meet-and-greet. Luka probably confused but took the buff anyway.” One fan pointed out.
“Love that kid. He’s out stirring sh*t up. Plus like 3 years ago he did have the true line when asked about LeGED: ‘He’s old’.” one more fan echoed.
“Bro Luka would love having Dillon Brooks in his team. I can see them being friends. There’s this vibe for sure.” Another fan said.
Some fans clearly feel that Dillon Brooks does not want to be a part of the Suns anymore, and is vying for a spot in the Lakers. These same fans theorize that this is perhaps why Brooks decided to be extra-chummy with Doncic, right in the middle of a game. Nevertheless, the high-five was pretty fun to watch and was definitely one of the highlights of the matchup.
