As Steph Curry and his daughter Riley kicked off the new season with another wholesome viral clip, NBA fans couldn’t resist taking a few lighthearted jabs — this time aimed at Ayesha Curry.
Before the Golden State Warriors faced the LA Lakers, cameras caught Steph warming up in his usual pregame routine. But this time, he added a twist — a pass from his daughter Riley to one of the coaching staff before draining a corner three that had the crowd buzzing.

It was a fun father-daughter moment, but fans online turned it into a playful family roast.
One fan joked, “Ayesha mad no one passed her the ball.”
Another added, “ayesha mad she not the center of attention.”
A third focused on Riley’s growth, saying, “This can’t be the same girl that was on Steph’s lap in those post-game interviews??? That just made me feel old af because I still picture Riley as a toddler.”
From the toddler who charmed reporters during Steph’s 2015 championship interviews to a confident young girl now assisting in her dad’s warmups, Riley’s grown right before everyone’s eyes. Meanwhile, Steph enters his 16th NBA season, still chasing that elusive fifth ring.
