NBA Fans barely had time to sit down before Draymond Green was heading for the tunnel again, this time after back-to-back technical fouls against the Utah Jazz.

The moment came during Golden State’s home victory against Utah on Saturday, January 3, 2026, a 123–114 win that quickly became secondary to the ejection.

@BleacherReport posted the clip with the caption, “Draymond EJECTED after receiving back-to-back techs [shocked emoji] He was arguing for a 3s call [eyes emoji].” Within minutes, NBA Fans had already turned the moment into a running joke.

One of the most shared reactions came from @madehoops, who posted, “Death, Taxes, Draymond Green technical.”

The phrase instantly landed with NBA Fans, many of whom see these moments as routine rather than surprising.

Another viral reply came from @DeyLuvHuggy, who posted a laughing GIF with the caption, “4 days into 2026 and Draymond already ejected.”

The timing only added to the humor, as NBA Fans joked that Green was already in midseason form before the year even warmed up.

What stood out in the reactions was how little outrage there was. NBA Fans weren’t debating the call itself. They were laughing at the predictability of it all.

As Golden State moves forward, NBA Fans already expect this won’t be the last time Green dominates timelines for reasons unrelated to the scoreboard.

NBA Fans Call Draymond Green’s Ejection Run “Historic” For All The Wrong Reasons

NBA Fans doubled down on the jokes after a stat-filled post put Draymond Green’s recent run into uncomfortable perspective.

@LogionNoops shared a breakdown titled “Draymond Green’s last 7 games,” showing that he had been ejected in six of them. The lone exception was a game against Oklahoma City in which, funny enough, Green was rested and never saw the floor.

Replies poured in fast. @Sushinobi_nft cut straight to the point, writing, “Mans need therapy.” The comment echoed a growing belief among NBA Fans that this stretch goes beyond competitive fire.

Another reaction from @InLuvWScience leaned fully into sarcasm, saying, “Generational run, we truly might never see something like this again.” While meant as a joke, many NBA Fans agreed that the frequency is genuinely rare, even by Green’s standards.

At this point, NBA Fans aren’t asking if another ejection is coming. They are wondering how long the streak can realistically last.

For better or worse, Green has once again carved out a category of his own, and NBA Fans are watching it unfold one technical at a time.
