Draymond Green found himself at the center of another joke fest after an old clip resurfaced and got a comedic makeover that NBA fans couldn’t get enough of.
Footage from a 2023 game against the New Orleans Pelicans made the rounds again, this time with added dubbing.
As Green tried hyping himself up while guarding Herb Jones, YouTube creators Sauce_n_Cola edited the clip to make it sound like Jones said, “They subbin’ you out, gang.”
Moments later, Green was indeed subbed out by Steve Kerr and could be seen arguing with the longtime Warriors head coach, which only made the edit funnier for fans.

Naturally, the jokes followed.

@HarryUppindye didn’t hold back, saying, “The league will be better without Draymond. All time terrible first name btw.”
Others just wanted Green’s reaction. @Slime101200 added, “I want Draymond to respond to this on his pod this shit so funny.”
The clip may be old, but the added dubbing gave it new life, leaning into the irony of Green hyping himself up only to be pulled moments later.
“Bros got a longer highlight tape of dirty plays”: NBA fans ridicule Draymond Green’s take on dirty plays
While fans were laughing at the resurfaced video, Green was busy trying to defend his reputation.

On a recent episode of The Draymond Show, Green pushed back on the idea that he’s a dirty player, instead pointing the finger elsewhere.
“I don’t do dirty things,” Green said. “There’s not a player in the NBA who can tell you Draymond is a dirty player. There are a lot of Europeans who do dirty stuff on the court. “
The comments appeared to reference situations involving Pelle Larsson and recent technical fouls against Devin Booker and DeMar DeRozan, but fans weren’t buying it.
@DerangedSF joked, “Bros got a longer highlight tape of dirty plays than actual basketball.”
@OKCowboysBraves went further, saying, “I swear bros racist to Europeans.”
Meanwhile, @SleeperHawks offered blunt advice, adding, “Draymond needs to do himself a favor and stop saying the dumbest thing he can into his microphone.”

Between old clips resurfacing and fresh soundbites from his podcast, Green continues to give NBA fans plenty to talk — and laugh — about.
