NBA fans are having a range of reactions to a tweet about former baller Eddy Curry’s drama with his baby mama. Curry got married to his high school sweetheart, and the relationship definitely did not end well.

The divorce meant that Curry had to pay a substantial amount of money to his ex-wife for the years together in child support. The hilarious thing is that the woman claimed that the money she received in child support cannot be considered, because Curry did not use the appropriate channel to make the payment. Fans are having both humorous and sad reactions to the post, especially since Curry’s ex-partner passed away.

“Former NBA player Eddy Curry paid $1 million in child support and assets to his ex-partner, but she claimed she never received it. When their child turned 18, she took him to court, arguing that the payments weren’t processed through the proper channels, and therefore were seen as ‘gifts’ instead of child support. The court ruled that he still owed an additional $1 million in child support. As part of their divorce agreement, Eddy also provided: $9,000 per month in spousal support for 4 years, a $450,000 house, a $65,000 car. He later called this one of his most regrettable decisions. Reports state that she has passed away. (dove with olive branch emoji, woozy face x 5)” polo_man404 tweeted.

“Yall messy for dropping the tea on her before the rip (grimacing face emoji)” one fan said.

“It seems as though the courts enable women rip men off whenever it comes to divorce and child support. Do anyone blame men for not bothering to not get married anymore? Since it’s the easiest way to lose their hard earned fortune to greedy parasites?” another fan said.

“She was banging her attorney that got her the millions and when she tried to leave him after the settlement, he flipped out and shot her…He was a Chicago n*gga smh,” another fan added.

NBA Fans Mock Eddy Curry’s Baby Mama For Being A Gold-Digger

NBA fans are definitely having a field day cracking up at Eddy Curry’s ex-partner. Many are calling out the woman, despite being dead for quite some time now. Several are happy that she has passed on, remarking that she deserved every bit of her death.

“$1M in ‘gifts’ and still owe another $1M? That’s not child support, that’s a masterclass in why you NEVER pay informally. Courts don’t care about your receipts if they’re not on their paperwork. Brutal lesson,” one fan informed.

“How will you convince our younger generation about marriage when women have turned it to poverty alleviation and scam tactics,” another fan questioned.

“Her passing away wasn’t regrettable…” one more fan added.

It looks like many baller fans don’t like gold-diggers, even if they have already passed away a long time ago. Eddy Curry is definitely not the first one who has been cheated by a woman and had all his money.
