NBA fans are reacting to an X account reporting that Caris LeVert commented on the recent ICE shooting in Minneapolis. Thousands took to the streets to protest the recent shooting of Alex Pretti by ICE agents, which was the second similar incident this month.
LeVert basically said that people should not react unless solid evidence is out. However, it is not known if the Pistons hooper actually said these words and whether they were simply made up. Still, it was more than enough for fans to come up with differing opinions on the same.

“Detroit Pistons Superstar Caris LeVert on the recent ICE shooting in Minneapolis: ‘Let’s just wait for all of the evidence to come out before jumping to conclusions.’” HoodiWaymo tweeted.
Why the fuck are pro athletes being asked about this?
Media just needs to shut the fuck up.

“Well said Caris. Peace comes from not bringing guns upon law enforcement.” One fan said.
“When all the evidence comes out, Caris will say he hasn’t seen it. This is called protecting your paycheck. Eddie Levert and all of the Ojays should be ashamed of Caris.” One more fan said.
“Thank you! An athlete that has some common sense wants to find out the whole situation before jumping to conclusions. Either way, why are these reporters asking non sports related questions??” another fan asked.

NBA Fans Argue Why Reporters Are Asking Players These Types Of Questions
On another note, many NBA fans are actually questioning why reporters are asking players and athletes political types of questions in the first place. Some felt that these reporters are simply trying to get into the spotlight by putting players in an awkward situation like this.
“Why the f**k are pro athletes being asked about this? Media just needs to shut the f**k up.” one fan said.
“I’m so tired of sports reporters trying to get their moment in the sun off the backs of pro athletes there only to talk about the game they just played. Do your job or apply to work at CNN.” One fan remarked.
“Why we gunna put athletes in this situation? If he come out and say he wanna talk about this that’s different everyone is allowed to speak up and voice their opinions or concerns that’s an American thing to do, but don’t ask. It’s possible he doesn’t want his opinion known.” One fan remarked.

Even if what Caris LaVert says is not true, it looks like many fans are actually siding with his words. The ICE protests across Minneapolis seem to be getting only worse as time goes by with the entire nation being practically peeved at ICE.
