NBA fans are once again reacting to a Centel post, stating that Adam Silver is planning on conducting a one-on-one tournament between NBA and W stars during the upcoming All-Star Weekend.
Of course, there are no reports about this officially, but this has not stopped fans from reacting as if it were indeed real news. Fans are taking the opportunity to show their creativity, with at least one of them pointing out Miles Bridges’ controversial history in domestic violence.
“Adam Silver is exploring the possibility of introducing a 1-on-1 tournament between NBA and WNBA players as part of All-Star Weekend.” NBA Centel tweeted.

“Don’t let Miles Bridges know about this (seeing emoji)” one fan said.
“Paige Bueckers vs Cooper Flagg incoming? Wait no wrong timeline…but fr Dillon Brooks would foul out in 30 seconds tryna guard A’ja,” another fan joked.
“Book it: LeBron vs. Caitlin Clark. Winner gets the league. I’m betting the house.” one more fan said.
It looks like the fake tweet actually has fans divided with some feeling that the tweet might actually be a great idea if implemented right. Others feel that W players might simply embarrass themselves in the ordeal.
NBA Fans Continue To Joke About Centel’s Fake Tweet
NBA fans are clearly having a field day in coming up with jokes about the fake tweet. A large percentage of fans even felt that this might be a great opportunity for female ballers to get back at Michael Porter Jr. for his many negative comments on W players in the past.

“This ends with every WNBA player posterizing MPJ and then him tweeting about it for 3 weeks straight,” one fan predicted.
“A’ja Wilson vs Bam Adebayo, Caitlin Clark vs Jalen Brunson, Paige Bueckers vs Donovan Mitchell, Angel Reese vs Luka Doncic,” one more fan speculated face-offs.
“Legit every idea this guy has is horrendous. Just play an all star game like it used to be, or cancel the sh*t altogether,” another fan trolled Adam Silver.
It is true that many are actually unhappy with the way that Adam Silver is running the show, especially in terms of the All-Star game. What used to be a highly looked forward to event has already become a boring circus and even many players have come out in criticism of it.
