NBA fans have been buzzing about Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion. Some think they’ve already split. No confirmation yet, but Megan’s recent podcast appearance didn’t exactly calm the waters.
Asked about marriage and family, she said,
“I just want a nice person.” Then added, “I don’t just want a relationship. I want to be with somebody who loves me. I want to really genuinely be happy.” She even mentioned wanting five kids. In another interview, she talked about how her relationship with Thompson made her feel more loved.

Fans weren’t buying it.
@DripMuse_ fired off, “You can’t turn a hoe into a wife!”

@Glitchymagic piled on: “Klay’s shooting slump is one thing, but this is a different kind of brick.”
And @GrindOden joked, “Well klay saw what happened to the other guy and still thought he could change her. Lmfao.”
The two went public back in July with an Instagram post, looking tight on social media. Whether Megan’s comments mean trouble or not, fans are running with the rumors.
“Pure poetry for the dynasty send off”: NBA fans react to possible Splash Brothers reunion
While the gossip swirls, Thompson’s basketball future is heating up. ESPN’s Anthony Slater and Tim MacMahon reported there’s a chance he could return to Golden State.
“There’s no one that carries more weight with Klay than Steph,” one source said. Curry would have to push for it.

Fans loved the idea.

@Courtsidecom added, “Give me the greatest backcourt of all time a few more times.”
And @Spademeta kept it simple: “Let’s make it happen.”
Since leaving the Warriors in 2024, Thompson’s numbers haven’t looked like vintage Klay. In 26 games this season, he’s averaging 10.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists on 36.7% shooting. A reunion with Steph might be the spark he needs — and the send-off fans are dreaming about.
