NBA Fans poked fun once more this Sunday. And yet again, it’s on LeBron James, who missed a half-court shot against the New York Knicks, and, of course, Fans pulled no punches in poking fun at the LA Lakers superstar.
User @massart_gael didn’t hold back andwrote, “3 feet airball like only LePEDiddy can,” referring to how NBA Fans have hilariously connected James to the now-convicted rapper P. Diddy.

Meanwhile, user @K9Dirk was shocked that James had evaded doing something funnier, commenting, “I’m surprised he didn’t fall down [laughing emoji].”
However, the NBA Fans never stopped there, with some users like @artrad11 pouncing on James by comparing him to a Legend, writing, “This is the guy that’s supposed to be better than Bean [grinning and laughing emojis]??”
With James staying with the Lakers, Fans couldn’t help but point out how his impact on the team matches that of “Bean,” the nickname of the late Kobe Bryant.
Even with all the NBA Fans throwing shade at James, they still don’t feel that his logo shot would work. The ball didn’t even hit the net, an airball.
“Bum! He’s so overrated,” one user wrote.
“How many airballs is that just this week lol?” one user commented.
“He had the nerve to say, “Kobe” when he pulled up [facepalm emoji],” one user posted.
“The quick pan away at the end is frying me lol,” one user wrote.

And to make the NBA Fans’ comments more brutal, James (22 points) and the Lakers also lost Sunday’s match. Fans witnessed as the Knicks put the Lakers down, 112-100, bringing them back to the loss column. Now, Fans couldn’t help whether this squad can face the league’s formidable teams, as well as being consistent throughout games.
NBA Fans defend LeBron’s failed logo shot
Despite many NBA Fans clearly throwing shade at James, some Fans refused to join the hate and called out to understand LBJ’s 31-foot attempt, which occurred at the end of the third quarter.

Users like @FastBreakBron argued that James’ shot wasn’t guaranteed to shoot in the first place, writing, “It was half court okay that’s not an easy shot.”
Meanwhile, user @DownSouthTae argued that every player, not just James, will do the same thing, remarking, “End of the quarter I’ve seen plenty of players do this.”
While some NBA Fans won’t buy with these Fans’ defense, it is undeniable that James’ attempt remains a testimony on how he is still at his fit body, even at age 41. However, Fans also knew that James’ time is nearer than ever, and someday, even playing one more game isn’t an option for him.
