NBA fans are having a laugh at Floyd Mayweather as he’s seen flexing on courtside the stack of cash that he has while watching the NBA Cup Finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the New York Knicks.
The viral clip shared by Bleacher Report saw Mayweather grabbing a stack of cash from his bag and unbundling it in front of Jay-Z and his daughter, Blue Ivy, which has stirred some reactions from NBA fans.

@SaintTyroneRSGG made quite a comparison and said, “One of the most unnecessary and weird flexes on money I’ve ever seen. That’s like showing your lambo to a Rolls Royce owner.”

@fadde, on the other hand, saw what really was happening: “Fake news. He’s paying his tab and tip to the waitress behind him.”
And @StJamesStJames piled on, saying, “Jay Z has REAL money. He don’t need to count it or ever check his banking app.”
Plenty of stars were in attendance at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to watch the showdown between the Spurs and the Knicks, which included former basketball stars Dirk Nowitzki, Udonis Haslem, Steve Nash, Blake Griffin, as well as some celebrities in the crowd like Jay-Z and Floyd Mayweather, to name a couple.
Spike told the Knicks they can hang the banner up in his house”: NBA fans rejoice for Spike Lee after New York Knicks win the NBA Cup
While Mayweather’s antics drew laughs, Spike Lee’s joy stole hearts. A lifelong Knicks superfan, Lee was courtside to witness his team finally win a trophy. The director of Malcolm X was caught on NBA socials jumping up and down in celebration, a sight that had fans smiling across timelines.

@StreetGumWear imagined Lee’s message to the team: “Spike told the Knicks they can hang the banner up in his house if they didn’t want it.”

@IsrafilOnchain noted, “spike been waitin decades for this.”
And @diegos_finest praised his loyalty: “Spike Lee has sat in his Season Ticket seats for 30 years, ha ~ never give up!”
The Knicks’ 124-113 victory over the Spurs marked their first title since 1999, when they won the Eastern Conference Finals. For Lee and Knicks fans everywhere, the NBA Cup win was more than just a trophy—it was a long-awaited moment of validation.
