NBA fans, this Sunday, lose it after Jaxson Hayes decided to troll everyone with his recent Instagram story. Hayes, who joined in at the recent NBA Slam Dunk Contest, posted a photo of himself dunking, but with a brutal twist. Hayes also put a picture of legendary Michael Jordan in a dunk, quickly shocking Fans.
However, some NBA Fans like user @billyinohio found Hayes’ story as very insulting, writing, “ridiculous blasphemy.” User @13brentlol, while admitting that it was a troll, still didn’t find it funny.
The user posted, “even as a joke this made me upset lol,” really making it clear that they wouldn’t put Hayes with Jordan.
Jokes aren’t supposed to do that

This year’s All-Star Game was another banger for the Fans, but Hayes’ highlight had it for all the wrong reasons. Fans online poked fun at Hayes’ dunks, seeing it as merely simple. In the end, Fans couldn’t help but be very thankful to the judges for never giving Hayes the trophy.

Still, NBA Fans pulled no punches, throwing shade at Hayes’ IG story. After all, the LA Lakers veteran did the worst thing he could ever do: provoke the Fans by bringing Jordan into the scene.
“Jordan’s was way more impressive what a idiot,” one user wrote.
“Never compare Hayes dunk to Jordan’s. Not even close to the same,” one user remarked.
“They still keep using MJ to compare themselves to,” one user posted.
“No way bro pulls a through the legs in a game then does the simplest dunk in the contest…Whats wrong with hoopers these days,” one user wrote.
Hayes has yet to win a Slam Dunk trophy, but Jordan has already won two, back-to-back. This disparity was the trigger behind the NBA Fans’ disapproval on Hayes’ recent IG story. But in the end, it served as a powerful lesson for the big man: that he is hundreds of miles farther than Jordan’s accolades in the said Contest alone.

NBA Fans poke fun at Hayes amidst heated IG story
Disapproval is the emotion NBA Fans clearly had on Hayes’ recent IG story that put his dunk alongside the legend Jordan’s. However, many Fans had seen the mission: a clear troll from the Lakers’ youngin.
Sarcastic or not, user @NBACardio believes Hayes should’ve won the trophy. The user wrote, “i actually see the resemblance. he might’ve been robbed now that i look back at it.” Meanwhile, user @tobler_patrick claims Hayes forgot to do something in his dunk, writing, “He didnt have the tongue out, that costed him the win.”

Funny or not, Hayes was just right in bringing himself into relevance with that story, and NBA Fans, as usual, fell for it.
