Jimmy Butler doesn’t sound interested in the 2026 NBA All-Star Game. As voting opened, the Golden State Warriors dropped a reel urging NBA fans to support him. Butler slid into the comments with his own spin:
“don’t vote for me guys. instead somebody create a gofundme to send me to Barbados. Thanks in advance. GO WARRIORS.”

NBA fans laughed, but plenty saw through it.

@MishaTurtleX added, “Man’s 36. I don’t blame him.”
And @BiggLynch capped it off: “He knows he’s not going to make it anyway, so he’s saying this to make it look like he doesn’t want it.”
Butler’s been to six All-Star Games since 2015. This time, he’d rather rest up and save energy for Golden State’s playoff push.
“There is a boss troll who matches his energy”: NBA Fans Roast Dillon Brooks
Jimmy Butler’s trolling didn’t stop online. In Saturday’s 119-116 win over Phoenix, he baited Dillon Brooks into losing it. After scoring, Butler tossed the ball toward Brooks. Brooks wanted a tech. The refs ignored it. He snapped at them instead.

NBA fans loved it.

@wagerkingz_ added, “This matchup so toxic.”
And @pawellwitt pointed out, “He knew better than to go after Jimmy and went straight to the ref instead.”
Golden State followed up with a 120-97 win over Orlando, making it two straight. Butler had 21 points, 4 assists, 3 rebounds against the Magic, plus 25 points in the Suns game.
At 36, Butler may skip the All-Star spotlight. Doesn’t matter. He’s still making headlines — trolling opponents, trolling NBA fans, and keeping the Warriors’ season alive.
