Jordan Poole thought he was walking into a light school visit. Instead, he walked straight into one of the most direct questions he’s faced in years.
@joelvenile posted a clip showing Poole sitting in a boardroom-style setup with kids when one of them suddenly asked, “How did it feel when Draymond punched you?” The account captioned it, “Jordan Poole getting absolutely side swiped by somebody’s kid lol.”

The moment spread fast, and NBA Fans instantly swarmed the replies.
Most NBA Fans weren’t focused on the setting. They were focused on the nerve. @Johnny_J_Jones summed up what many were thinking, writing, “Kid’s got a bright future in media!” Others praised the delivery. @djohn90 added, “Askin the hard hitting questions.”
The replies quickly turned into a mix of laughter and respect. Some admitted they were thinking the same thing and were glad someone finally said it out loud.
Poole’s reaction, though. Instead of brushing it off or getting visibly annoyed, he kept his composure, with several people calling him a “good sport” for not letting the moment turn awkward.

The young man just cut straight to the one topic that still follows Poole everywhere. Just a direct question that everyone wanted answered. Some joked that he already asks better questions than half the media.
By the end of the thread, the mood was clear. NBA Fans were laughing, but they were also impressed. Impressed by the kid’s boldness, and impressed by how Poole handled a moment that could have easily gone sideways. Instead, it turned into one of the more human clips NBA Fans have shared in a while.
NBA Fans turn on Draymond Green after old Jordan Poole tension resurfaces online
The kid’s question didn’t come out of nowhere. It landed in the middle of a situation NBA Fans feel has been dragged on far too long.
A couple of weeks ago, @TheDunkCentral shared a clip with the caption, “Draymond Green calls out Jordan Poole for his reaction during Mark Williams’ fight with Jose Alvarado.”

That post reopened a topic many NBA Fans thought should have stayed in the past.
The replies quickly tilted against Green. @HunchoGambles was one of many who felt the same way, writing, “Still taking shots at Jordan Poole smh Draymond is childish. Talk about how you’ve declined in your game and is costing Curry another chip.”
The comment was widely liked and echoed by other NBA Fans who believe the situation no longer needs airtime.
@BeLiKeDime went even harder, posting, “Get off JP meat my n***a damn… knocked my boy out on camera then had that nigga in Washington rotting away… enough is enough let him live.”
While the wording was raw, the message matched what many NBA Fans were already saying. Move on.
Across the thread, NBA Fans argued that Green keeps circling back to something that should’ve been closed. They said every new comment pulls old drama into moments that should be about the present. Some even suggested that this lingering tension has started to define him more than anything he’s done recently.

That’s why the school clip hit differently. NBA Fans didn’t just see a funny kid moment. They saw proof that the punch still follows Poole, even into rooms that have nothing to do with the league. And in their eyes, that trail keeps getting extended by Green himself.
The kid asked the question. The internet laughed. But underneath it, NBA Fans made their stance clear. They’re tired of the past being carried into the present.
