What started as a wholesome courtside moment for Josh Hart and his twins quickly turned into something NBA fans couldn’t resist laughing about. In the closing seconds of the Knicks’ 106–100 win over the Orlando Magic, Hart suddenly had to rush back into the game — but he still had one of his twins sitting on his lap. With no time to spare, he simply handed the baby over to Mitchell Robinson like a relay handoff.
Fans loved every second of it, and a few couldn’t help poking fun at Robinson in the comments.

One wrote, “Mitch did not sign up for babysitting. Not in his contract.”
Another added, “He said ‘sit with Unk real quick. Dad gotta go get a bucket’”
A third said, “This probably the only sport where u can have your kids on the bench with you.”
Hart didn’t just bring the dad vibes — he backed it up on the floor. The Knicks guard posted a 17-point, 12-rebound double-double, giving his twins Haza Dana and Hendrix Aaron something to smile about as they watched from the sideline.
“Dad and his cubs”: NBA fans adore Josh Hart’s postgame moment with his kids
As the game neared its conclusion at Madison Square Garden, the cameras drifted back to Hart and his twins, setting up one of the night’s most adorable scenes. Haza and Hendrix sat comfortably on their dad’s lap while he cooled down from his big performance, and fans couldn’t help but react.

One fan said, “Dad and his cubs.”
Another added, “Love the family vibes.”
A third wrote, “W father moment”
Hart and his wife, Shannon, welcomed the twins in 2023, right before Game 6 of the Knicks’ playoff matchup with the Miami Heat. New York would eventually fall in that series, but Hart has always made it clear that fatherhood ranks just as high as anything he does on the court.
With the Knicks rolling and Hart continuing to stuff the box score, moments like this — part basketball, part pure family joy — are becoming a signature part of his presence in New York.
