NBA fans are massively reacting to Stephen A. Smith being called out by FBI Director Kash Patel after the veteran analyst claimed that the recent arrests of NBA players for a gambling scandal is all because of President Trump. Patel appeared on Fox News and mocked Smith, remarking that it is he himself who makes decisions on who gets arrested in the country and for what reason.

The comments section had a range of reactions from different fans, with many blaming President Trump, and others siding with the POTUS. Still others felt that this was all nothing but a monumental distraction from the ongoing Epstein files conspiracy, the exact details of which are yet to come out in public.
“I’m the FBI director. I decide which arrest to conduct and which not to conduct… That may be the single dumbest thing I’ve ever heard out of anyone in modern history. And I live most of the time in Washington, D.C.” Kash Patel said on ‘The Ingraham Angle’.

“Its not dumb because why aren’t the epstein island people getting arrested?” one fan pointed out.
“You mean the guy who said once he got back in office would seek retribution against people that wronged him? Because Trump said this sh*t more than once.” another fan recalled in the comments section.
“So you are saying you will overlook other cases based on what you want to prosecute?” a fan smartly added.
NBA Fans Take Shots At Stephen A. Smith For Controversial Comments
While many NBA fans pointed out the flaws in the Trump administration, others felt that Stephen A. Smith should have done plenty more research before jumping to conclusions that the POTUS was behind all the recent arrests of NBA players. Smith’s comments come after reporters of many basketball players and coaches being arrested recently for illegal gambling.

“The investigation into Rozier alone had been going for over two years….during the previous administration. So while the collective NBA and the President aren’t great buddies, I would say Stephen A is off the mark.” one fan said.

“Wait it all makes sense now. This is all just to build up hype for Stephen A to run for president in 2028 (eye emoji)” a fan felt so.
“I guess Stephen A didn’t heart the part it was a “years” long investigation. What a (clown emoji)” another fan criticized Smith.

Not only basketball players, but several mafia groups have also been arrested for illegal gambling. Apart from Smith, many have come forward to call out President Trump and his administration for turning a blind eye to many important cases, like the Epstein files, while giving importance to incidents like gambling.
