NBA fans are reacting to the news that Elle Duncan will no longer be with ESPN after the popular sportscaster parted with the network. Duncan will be now working with Netflix for their sports programming and fans are coming up with theories as to what could have led to this maneuver.

Of course, one strong theory is about Duncan’s co-host Kendrick Perkins, who has been known for his penchant for inappropriate comments. Last month, Perkins made a comment comparing himself to Ibuprofen which led to Duncan going radio-silent for a few very awkward seconds on live TV. Many fans feel that this particular incident was the last straw for the sportscaster who immediately put her two-weeks’ notice in after the segment was over.

“She put her 2 weeks in as soon as the segment ended (crying emoji x4)” One fan theorized, which led to a barrage of reactions from other ball fans.

“Got off air went straight to HR (crying emoji)” one fan said.

“She went right on indeed during the commercial break (crying emoji)” another fan echoed.

“She said f**k the 2 weeks, I’m leaving now” one more fan added.

NBA Fans Call Out Kendrick Perkins For Inappropriate Comments

Meanwhile, many NBA fans trolled Kendrick Perkins and criticized ESPN for continuing to employ a man who has been known for making such nasty and ridiculous statements on television.

“How does this man still have a job. From his dumb f***ing opinions to his sexual harassment on air” one fan pointed out.

“Espn has the lowest class of journalists and broadcasters around!!!” one more fan called out the network.

“SEE HOW THAT N**GA LOOK??? she did anything to get away from that grizzly” another fan said.

While Elle Duncan was clearly and visibly uncomfortable with Perkins’ statements on TV, the sportscaster managed to break the silence with a statement of how much she loved him after a few cringe-filled moments. Despite the incident having occurred almost a month ago, fans are clearly not going to forget it soon.

Perkins is not just known for his inappropriate comments towards women, but also for his blown-up statements about his influence in the NBA and its players. The former hooper has been massively trolled for such remarks, but the man has still clearly not received the message. More so, the guy could not even read the room after he made Duncan feel so uncomfortable with his words and went on as if nothing had happened.
