At 37, Kevin Durant hasn’t slowed down on the court, but NBA fans keep circling back to his personal life after an old photo surfaced again online.
The picture dates back to August 2025, when Durant posed alongside former WNBA star Liz Cambage. KD had his arms around the Australian center, and even at the time, fans were already reading into it.
Months later, the same photo made its way back into circulation, and the reactions followed almost immediately.

@yellenomix added, “when you bag a baddie from the burner.”
@FERR0D_ imagined the exchange, saying, “You know KD gave her a hug and asked her if she wanna hoop.”
While fans revisited the moment, Durant kept doing what he’s done all season. His play has been one of the reasons the Houston Rockets have stayed in the title conversation.
Against the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, Durant finished with 33 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists as Houston pulled out a 108–99 win.
“Bron should learn from him”: NBA fans admire Kevin Durant’s work ethics
Durant’s commitment hasn’t gone unnoticed.

Before facing Memphis, the Rockets picked up a 111–104 road win over the Detroit Pistons, with Durant once again leading the way. He finished that game with 32 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists.
After the win, Durant was asked about playing heavy minutes this season. According to a report from Fullcourtpass via Big Sarge Media, his response was straightforward.
“I feel great. That’s what I get paid to do. I get paid fifty-something million dollars to be available and play,” Durant said.
The comment resonated with fans.

@JustBetOnchain joked, “Brother said load management is a luxury package. If I’m making $50M, I’m clocking in like it’s a 9–5.”

Durant’s approach has shown all season. Through 42 games with Houston, he’s averaged 36.9 minutes per night — a reflection of both his availability and his willingness to stay on the floor as the Rockets push toward contention.
