Kyle Kuzma isn’t going anywhere, but that didn’t stop NBA fans from pretending he was gone for about five minutes.
A parody account on X, Onyx, dropped a fake trade graphic claiming the Milwaukee Bucks had sent Kuzma to the nearest McDonald’s in exchange for six McChickens and future McRib considerations. Completely fake. Obviously fake. Still worked.
Because Kuzma hasn’t been linked to any real trade talks since arriving from Washington last year, the joke hit even harder. NBA fans treated it like deadline news anyway.

@iamultramarine followed with, “Add Podz for a small coke.”
@pandemicPG summed it up: “may be the most even trade of the deadline.”

That pretty much set the tone.
Since joining Milwaukee in 2025, Kuzma hasn’t exactly found his footing. The role hasn’t been clear, the impact hasn’t been loud, and the numbers haven’t helped much either. He’s averaging 13.0 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 2.6 assists in 47 games while playing just under 27 minutes a night. Fine on paper. Not enough for Bucks fans hoping for more.
“He’s in the wrong game”: NBA fans mock Kyle Kuzma for a failed Hail Mary pass for the win
As if the fake trade wasn’t enough, Kuzma gave NBA fans something real to laugh about on Wednesday night against the New Orleans Pelicans.
Late against the New Orleans Pelicans, Kuzma had the ball with 1.1 seconds left and a chance to make something happen. Instead of finding a teammate, he launched a long, desperate pass that went straight out of bounds.

No teammate. No miracle. Just sideline.
The mistake almost flipped the game. New Orleans got one last look after the inbound, but Trey Murphy III missed the jumper, sending things to overtime and sparing Kuzma from becoming the headline of a loss.
NBA fans still didn’t let it slide.
@ScatterV1sion said, “He thought he was passing it to the touchdown scorer, can’t blame him, he’s in the wrong game.”
@wZMEHVyfpxu7feo added, “Send him to the nfl and we good.”
@Mass_deed went sarcastic with it: “Vision like that deserves all the hype.”
Milwaukee eventually pulled out a 141–137 overtime win behind Ryan Rollins, who finished with 27 points, four rebounds, and four assists.

The win counted. Kuzma stayed put. But for NBA fans, between the McChicken trade and the sideline pass, the jokes were already written.
