Kyle Kuzma had NBA fans buzzing on Thursday night after getting a quick jab in on Jaylen Brown during the Milwaukee Bucks’ 116-101 win over the Boston Celtics.
Midway through the first quarter, Kuzma stepped to the free-throw line for his second attempt. Brown jumped into rebounding position way too early and started boxing out Gary Trent Jr. before the ball was even released. Kuzma didn’t let it slide.

“This is not a stream,” Kuzma told Brown after the violation.

Fans picked up on the moment immediately, thinking Kuzma set the tone for the night.
@ProphetXHoops caught Kuzma enjoying the jab: “He was so proud of himself for that one.”
@StevennMooney joked that Kuz had a brief hesitation before firing the line off: “He thought about it twice before saying it lmao.”
And @Azericic had a comeback ready for Brown: “jaylen brown should have said this ain’t the playoffs.”
Kuzma and the Bucks ultimately backed it up, locking in the win even with Giannis Antetokounmpo still sidelined.
“Can you do this every game so we can keep Giannis?”: NBA fans hope Kuzma’s breakout night sends a message
With Giannis out, Milwaukee needed someone to take the scoring load — and Kuzma delivered one of his best nights as a Buck. He finished with 31 points and 6 rebounds, marking his first 30-point game since joining Milwaukee, and fans instantly started connecting the dots to Giannis’ future.

@iKnewBa11 kept it straightforward: “Bro can you do this every game so we can win more and keep Giannis.”

@JimmyHayward56 did a double take watching Kuzma cook: “I thought it was Giannis playing.”
And @DeyLuvHuggy circled back to Brown’s rough night: “Fried Jaylen Brown and then dropped 30 on him.”
The Bucks moved to 11-15 with the win, hoping Giannis’ return — and nights like this from Kuzma — help steady things and maybe sway their superstar to stick around.
