NBA fans are calling out Kyrie Irving for wearing a t-shirt with the word ‘PRESS’ written on the front as a way to honor all the journalists who have been killed in Gaza so far. Irving did not speak much on the matter and let his outfit do all the talking for him.
While many commended him for his actions, others called it hypocrisy, especially since many journos have been siding with Palestine in this whole conflict. Many fans feel that these reporters have been biased in their job and do not deserve to be honored in any way.
“Kyrie wore a PRESS tee at the All-Star game to honor the 300+ journalists killed in Gaza (Palestine flag emoji) ‘Dedicated to our beloved journalists in Gaza showing the world the truth’” LakeShowYo tweeted, sharing a picture of Irving wearing his ‘PRESS’ tee at the All-Star Game.
“One of the journalists literally held an Israeli hostage in this home, these so called journalists many of them were part of Hamas.” One fan called out.

“Can’t wait for politics to leave the sports. This cycle is sickening. Go do your activism on your own time. I don’t care what side of the narrative they are.” Another fan said.
“Kyrie wore a PRESS tee to honor the 300+ HAMAS PROPAGANDA journalists killed in Gaza. Used to GUSH KATIF.” One more fan said.
NBA Fans Continue To React To Kyrie Irving Wearing The ‘PRESS’ Tee
NBA fans are continuing to react to Kyrie Irving’s t-shirt, with many coming out with differing opinions on the same. While some are siding with Irving on this one, others are bringing up stats and facts from the past.

“A strong symbolic gesture from him (t-shirt emoji) Regardless of political positions honoring journalists who have lost their lives highlights the danger of working in conflict zones,” one fan said.
“How about the Bibas boys who were strangled by Hamas with their bare hands and the hostages murdered and entire families tortured, raped and murdered on 10/7. I guess you forgot about them and how this all started.” one fan said.
“As a journalist, why TF would you on your own free will go to the middle of a warzone then play victim of war??? Like seriously, are y’all that stupid? Bro if the edomites had moved to Jordan, which was literally created to house them, this wouldn’t be an issue. F**ktards,” one more fan mocked.
It looks like many fans are not happy with Kyrie Irving’s gesture at the game. At the same time, there are many who feel that what Irving did is great and that many other ballers should take lessons from him.
