NBA Fans were fully locked in for a normal pregame moment until the San Antonio Spurs decided to bless everyone with chaos.
A clip shared by @BrickCenter_ showed the Spurs waiting to enter the court while “A Thousand Miles” blasted through the arena speakers. Yes, that song. The one forever linked to the White Chicks scene. The caption said it all: “The Spurs’ pregame hype music is CRAZY [crying emoji].”

NBA Fans immediately heard comedy, not intimidation.
Another fan, @cesc_vr, jumped straight to the jokes with, “WNBA is tougher than NBA.”
The post did numbers because the timing was perfect. Instead of dark beats or dramatic build-up, the arena sounded like early-2000s heartbreak pop.
@blitterX leaned fully into the reference, posting a GIF of Terry Crews singing the song with the caption, “Hey sometimes you gotta….” NBA Fans instantly knew the scene, the vibes, and the absurdity.
Then @PearnivoreMMA labeled it what many secretly believe it to be: “A certified hood classic,” alongside a photo of men standing tough while the song plays in spirit.
For NBA Fans, the joke wasn’t really about the song choice. It was about contrast. Tough league. Big bodies. Loud crowd. Then Vanessa Carlton kicks in. The mismatch was too good to ignore.
This moment isn’t just about music taste. NBA Fans love anything that breaks the serious tone of pro sports, and this clip did exactly that. No drama, no argument, just pure shared humor.
Sometimes intimidation comes in many forms. Sometimes it comes with piano keys and a song everyone knows by heart.
NBA Fans Celebrate The Win While Calling Out Spurs’ Late-Game Collapse
After all the jokes and viral posts, NBA Fans had to acknowledge the actual result. The Spurs won.

The official team account @spurs posted, “W SECURED,” alongside a graphic showing a 135-132 win over New Orleans. NBA Fans celebrated, but not without pointing out how uncomfortable that finish became.
W SECURED.

One fan, @ebopogba6, summed up the mood sharply: “Giving away a 25-point lead is unacceptable [unamused emoji].” The frustration was real and loud.
Another reaction from @SpursEnjoyer210 did not sugarcoat anything: “Don’t ever do that bullshit again man.” NBA Fans agreed because what looked like an easy night suddenly turned stressful for no good reason.
NBA Fans weren’t debating talent or long-term plans. They were reacting to the moment. A massive lead was there. It disappeared. The win still counted, but the scare stuck.
What made it funnier was the timing. After entering the game to a song built for comedy, the Spurs nearly turned the night into a punchline. NBA Fans joked that the music may have carried over into the second half mindset.

Still, a win is a win. NBA Fans know that records remember the score, not the panic. But fans also remember vibes, and this game delivered plenty.
From piano pop hype to a nervy finish, NBA Fans walked away entertained, stressed, and somehow still laughing. That is sports, sometimes louder, sometimes softer, but never boring.
