NBA Fans went brutally honest on Ja Morant after no teams during the trade deadline were willing to welcome him, with reports saying that it served as a “wake-up call” to him. However, Fans remain disappointed, as they believe that Morant should’ve not come to this if he fixed his playstyle and attitude then.
User @mikeyy1000 thinks that Morant’s biggest flaw remains his three-point shooting, writing, “Brother we told u to add a 3 ball in like year 2 and you was cosplaying Youngboy.”

User @doingmybes, however, decided to add a bit of hilarity to the situation, commenting, “He thought you wanted him to be a shooter shooter.”
Either way, NBA Fans are now concerned as Morant, as they see, is walking on a very thin line this season. Once an explosive star who brought the Memphis Grizzlies to the Conference Finals, he is now on the verge of being kicked out by the same team.
“He’s on the verge of being washed out of the league if he doesn’t grow up,” one user wrote.
“Should be a wake-up call. Maybe start by actually playing the games. He is never available,” one user remarked.
“Problem is he made it big and stopped doing caring or playing hard. Has a bad attitude. It’s a shame,” one user posted.
“Man career is literally on the line,” one user wrote.
NBA Fans weren’t strangers on what they see as a very disappointing run from Morant over the season. The gun issues which led him to multiple, career-tarnishing suspensions is one thing, but there is one more flaw that made teams decide not to pick him, his injuries.

That deadly duo turned Morant from a star to now a struggling player, and only him will decide whether it’s time to man up or hang up his jersey.
NBA Fans believe Morant’s journey is far from over
Despite the underlying concerns NBA Fans have about Morant’s fate on the court, some believe there is one more way for him to redeem himself, even if it’s as far-fetched as securing a title with the Grizzlies.

User @VICKAMANIA_ had this in mind, writing, “Stay in Memphis, redeem yourself and win a ring.”
Meanwhile, user @gabrielgdc_ remarked, “Hopefully he’ll be back with a huge chip on his shoulder. That might be just what he needed.”
While some NBA Fans have found the said possibility as impossible, as long as Morant does finally set himself to improve, even a very good run will convince the Fans that his career was never a bust like they claim now.
