NBA Fans spent Monday throwing the most clever jabs at Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo, who is having a drop in scoring in his past games. This time, the Fans took it a step further and even posted a photo on X/Twitter showing Adebayo and his former partner, whose looks drew a lot of puns.
One of the users who aimed barbs at Adebayo was @GambleEveryday, who wrote, “Real eater and you know it,” clearly aiming at the woman, whose arm was resting on his shoulder. User @DarrickMartin15 also threw the same antics, commenting, “He got himself a big one.”

However, most NBA Fans had another way of picking on Adebayo, which was to compare his former partner to his current girlfriend, A’ja Wilson. And the Fans’ puns were just as brutal, if not more, than the ones above.
“Back when he was getting proper draining. Now he plays like he is on 5x gravity. B*lls too heavy because he getting no release. Aja h*tt*n him wit a strap on,” user @Atomic_Comet posted.
“Wouldn’t of thought Aja was an upgrade from his last bih [cry emoji],” user @plBinDetku99481 remarked.
“He should’ve stayed her or single Aja made him worse,” user @itsyourpalsav wrote.
Meanwhile, user @McmorrisLe15680 defended Adebayo from the trolls, raising, “Its clear he has back problem but y’all make the narrative in order to slight this man!” believing that an injury is preventing the three-time All-Star from playing at a full level. However, the NBA Fans insisted that it isn’t an excuse as he should’ve instead opted to take a rest.
Either way, the decrease in Adebayo’s performance has been deeply hurting the team. In his last game against Oklahoma, the Heat star scored only six points, shooting 30% from the field in 32 minutes. Coupled with the other games, that is enough for the NBA Fans to throw shade at him.
NBA Fans disappointed at league suspending Dennis Schroder after post-game frenzy
On the other side, NBA Fans didn’t buy the league’s decision to suspend Sacramento Kings’ Dennis Schroder after what the refs saw as an “attempted strike on an unnamed player” after the game against the Los Angeles Lakers. However, it didn’t take long for the NBA Fans to realize that Schroder and Luka Doncic, where Schroder was caught landing direct threats to the Lakers star.
However, Doncic didn’t back down. He then responded by bringing up how Schroder had declined a massive contract with the Lakers back in 2022. And this exchange gained enormous traction among the NBA Fans, who are clearly disappointed with the league quickly shutting this down.
