NBA fans are having hilarious reactions to Victor Wembanyama’s remarks before the NBA Cup semifinals matchup against the Thunder. Wembanyama was asked in an interview about his thoughts on facing Chet Holmgren and the French baller seemed to thwart the thought and admitted that he is solely focused on meeting SGA.

“The MVP is on that court; he’s our main focus. Anybody is hard to guard when you have to help on the MVP.” Victor Wembanyama said.

Wembanyama not only spoke about this before the game, but even after winning against the Thunder, the hooper had a statement to give out about Holmgren. However, fans feel that Wembanyama’s thoughts about Holmgren are completely one-sided.

“Some people are built for this moment, and some aren’t. We definitely are.” Wembanyama said after the win.

“the most one sided beef ever (crying emoji)” one fan said.

“lol he’s right, chet on a team where he has to be the main man he wouldn’t amount to much. Thankfully he’s the third option on his team rn,” another fan added.

“would rather sell his first born then give Chet any type of credit,” one more fan remarked.

NBA Fans Continue To React To Victor Wembanyama’s Remarks About Chet Holmgren

NBA fans are having a field day joking about Victor Wembanyama’s remarks about Chet Holmgren, even if they seem quite one-sided. It is clear that Wemby has plenty of hate toward Holmgren, but the player has wisely turned his attention toward SGA to take him out before anyone else in the matchup.

“I mean he not wrong (man shrugging emoji) it ain’t Chet vs Wemby. It’s Shai vs Wemby now,” one fan said.

I mean he not wrong 🤷‍♂️ it ain’t Chet vs Wemby. It’s Shai vs Wemby now

“He said Chet ain’t sh*t we worried about the SGA,” another fan said.

“wemby really throwing shade while staying factual, respect.” One more fan said.

Wembanyama managed to put up 22 points for the Spurs against OKC, who were led by SGA on the scoreboard. Holmgren managed a mere 17 points for his team in the losing effort. With the way Wemby has been spouting wrath against Holmgren, fans are still scratching their heads as to how the beef between the two players actually started. However, the French hooper has turned his full attention to SGA for the semi-finals, and managed to destroy OKC, nevertheless.
