NBA Fans filled social media with messages after news broke that Luka Doncic will miss tomorrow’s game against the Toronto Raptors to be present for the birth of his second child.

The announcement came through a post from @LALMuse, who wrote, “Luka Doncic will miss tomorrow’s game to attend the birth of his second child. Congrats to the Doncic family [purple heart emoji][yellow heart emoji].”

As soon as the update went live, NBA Fans jumped into the replies with a mix of jokes, support, and small predictions.

One of the most shared comments came from @landostudios1, who posted, “Hope he names the baby Dallas.” The message spread fast, and NBA Fans turned it into the night’s main punchline.

Another fan added a bit of superstition to the story. @JakeTheLakerFan wrote, “Went to finals last time he had a kid [thinking emoji].”

NBA Fans ran with that take, turning it into a quick debate about how the Mavericks usually respond when their star is away for big life moments.

The reactions showed how heavy Luka’s presence is around the league. Even when he steps away for a major family moment, NBA Fans make sure the conversation stays loud. It isn’t just another star missing a night. His absence always changes the tone, especially now that the Mavericks are preparing for a game without him.

NBA Fans Buzz As Lakers Arrive In Toronto With LeBron Throwing Down Windmill Dunk

While Luka Doncic is with his wife and newborn, the Los Angeles Lakers touched down in Toronto and immediately went to work. The official @Lakers page posted new photos from practice with the caption, “Touched down in Toronto,” including a shot of LeBron James throwing down a windmill dunk during the session.

NBA Fans flooded the replies right away. @PlayoffLucro posted, “Chills bron 30 ball loading.” Another fan, @SlimSleepr, added, “Windmill at 41 [goat emoji].”

The clip and photos spread fast, and NBA Fans kept replaying the moment as proof that LeBron still moves like someone much younger.

The timing added to the buzz. With the Lakers set to take on the Raptors tomorrow, NBA Fans treated the dunk as a sign that LeBron is locked in for the next stretch. A windmill in a simple practice session turns into a bigger talking point when it comes from a veteran who continues to defy age.

NBA Fans tied the moment to the team’s hopes for steadiness. One small highlight turned into a conversation about leadership, durability, and whether the Lakers can build momentum during this run of road games.

With Luka celebrating a new chapter at home and the Lakers dropping fresh footage from Toronto, NBA Fans found themselves bouncing between two completely different storylines. Both added energy heading into tomorrow’s matchup against the Raptors.
