NBA fans are hilariously reacting to rumors coming in that the Mavericks will be trying to trade away Anthony Davis to the Atlanta Hawks. Tim MacMahon revealed this during a recent episode of his podcast, and also added that Trae Young will not be a part of the trade. Fans are having a range of reactions to these rumors, especially with Davis having hardly played for the Mavs ever since he made it to the team.
“The Mavericks would like to work out a deal to send Anthony Davis to Atlanta, but Trae Young is not going to be part of that. They want to move forward with Kyrie Irving as their point guard. You’re not going to play those two guys together.” Tim MacMahon said.

“Dallas ending up with Trae Young would be absolutely hilarious,” one fan joked.
“Why would they want to send him to one specific team? Unless they really wanted Trae, which they don’t, or wanted Jalen which the Hawks wouldn’t do lol,” another fan said.

NBA Fans Continue To Speculate How AD’s Trade Will Pan Out
NBA fans are continuing to have reactions as to how Anthony Davis’ trade from the Mavs will actually work out for the team and others. Some fans feel that Davis might not be the best with the Mavs, but certainly holds a lot of value as a player.

“The mavericks better end up with Trae Young or Lamelo Ball 0 and a 1st round pick or no deal.” one fan explained.
Anthony Davis has unfortunately not had much luck with the Mavs ever since he found his way into the team. On the other hand, his trade counterpart, Luka Doncic, has already managed to create a separate fanbase for himself with his new team, the Lakers.
