NBA fans all over the internet are reacting to reports of Jalen Green not being able to play in the season-opener later this month. Suns fans were definitely excited to see Green make his debut for the team after signing with them during the offseason. However, they will have to wait for some more time until Green’s hamstring injury is fully healed.

According to team reports, Green’s pre-existing hamstring injury worsened during the recent trip to China. Green did not play at all during the preseason and now will be out for a few more weeks as he focuses on rehab and recovery.

While the injury itself is pretty painful for Green who is eager to show off his skillsets to Phoenix, it is the fans who will be even more hurt when they don’t see the young star rocking on the court. Meanwhile, social media has been flooded with a variety of reactions from NBA fans, ranging from empathy to downright humor.

“Damn what did Draya Michele do this time? (crying emoji)” One fan joked.

“He hadn’t missed a game in almost 3 yrs” another fan added.

“NO NO NO NO NO NO” One more fan stated.

NBA Fans Worry About Jalen Greens’ NBA Attendance

While many NBA fans expressed disappointment in not being able to see Jalen Green in the season opener, many others pointed out that this will be the first time that the player has missed a game in a long time. Green, unlike many other players, has never been one to get injured often, and this new hamstring injury has shocked many fans.

On another note, certain fans have jokingly pointed out that Green will try to stay off the court, faking an injury just to avoid playing against Bradley Beal. Beal plays for the Clippers, who the Suns will take on in the second game.

“He’s scared of Bradley Beal don’t blame him” A fan commented.

“Bradley Beal???” One more fan echoed.

“still better than Beal” Another fan stated.

Jalen Green and Bradley Beal were involved in a shoving match in the previous season. Beal, who stands at a towering height, pushed Green, for which he was thrown out of the game. As per the fans who commented with this reference, it looks like many think that Green is scared of meeting Bradley Beal on court again in fear of a repeat of their fight.
