NBA fans wasted no time clowning Anthony Edwards after he willingly gave out his phone number online.
On Wednesday, Edwards hopped on X to announce he was “launching his community” and told fans to text him — even dropping his name in the clip. It didn’t take long before fans started flooding his inbox and roasting him for his off-court drama with his ex.

One fan joked, “He’s just looking for a new baby mama.”

Another added, “Can someone ask him if I should take the over on 3.5 baby mommas please?”
A third wrote, “Imagine somebody cosplayed as one of his baby mommas and demanded child support.”
Edwards and his ex-girlfriend, Ayesha Howard — the mother of his six-year-old daughter, Aubri Summers — have been locked in a legal dispute, with Howard reportedly seeking $500,000 in damages and a public apology after winning legal and physical custody of their child.
“He doesn’t want to get done in like they did Luka”: NBA fans react to Ant’s comments about potential trades
Even with all the jokes, NBA fans also jumped on another viral Edwards moment — his message to ESPN insider Shams Charania about how he wants trade news handled if it ever happens.

During his Believe That Awards, Edwards said,
“If I’m going to get traded, you better fuking text me. Don’t leak that sht on Twitter — or X, or whatever. Send me a message. Let me know.”
Fans had a field day with that one, too.
One posted, “He doesn’t want to get done in like they did Luka.”

Another wrote, “Bruh the only time Ant would ever get traded is if he requests a trade himself. TWolves would never trade him by their own will. No one would wanna sign with Minnesota.”
A third joked, “Shams will be unemployed by then.”

Between dropping his number and calling out insiders, Anthony Edwards might’ve just given NBA Twitter another classic week.
