NBA fans were stunned to see the ticket prices for the Memphis Grizzlies vs. New Orleans Pelicans season-opener later this month. As inflation hits many essentials in the country, it looks like this particular home-opener ticket, costing only $6, might be among the cheapest things in America right now. Those who want to see Ja Morant or Zion Williamson can do it for practically free in a few days.

NBA fans could not help but mock the ticket pricing to see among the best players in the league. At the same time, there were many who were clearly delighted to see at least some prices drop in the country today.
Still, those in Memphis are definitely exhilarated about the cheap prices to see their home team take on the Pelicans. Since the ticket prices have been announced, the comments section has been a joke fest with many taking digs at the team and the players from different angles.
“WNBA Vibes!! (gun emoji) vs (burger emoji)” One fan reacted, referring to Morant’s gun controversy and Williamson’s weight, which he actually has lost quite a bit of during the offseason.

“All I see is a considerate management” One more NBA fan sweetly noted.
NBA Fans Continue To React To $6 Grizzlies Tickets
NBA fans could not hold back their astounded reactions as soon as they learnt that it would only cost $6 to see Ja Morant and Zion Williamson butt heads with each other. The range of reactions was truly humorous and even eye-opening at certain points.

“$6 for Ja vs Zion is wild (shock emoji) might be the best deal in sports right now (fire emoji)” One NBA fan tweeted his reaction.

“Two of the worst franchises ever no surprise” Another fan added.
“six dollars for those two is actually criminal” One more fan humorously noted.
While $6 may be pretty cheap for a basketball in America today, the range of tweets does show that this is how ticketing itself is supposed to be – accessible to everyone. Meanwhile, others pointed out the quality of the playing teams and their players, especially the controversy-laden Ja Morant. On the other side, Williamson’s Pelicans were not that great last season, and fans are not expecting major fireworks from them now.
