NBA fans are trolling Kawhi Leonard after recent reports stated that the player will miss his ninth game for the Clippers after his ankle sprain. The sprain has put the player out of several games as of now and there is still no proper date set as to the hooper’s return.

Fans seriously cannot believe that something as small as an ankle sprain has made Leonard miss so many games this season, especially with his team playing unbelievably bad right now. Some are coming up with their own hilarious theories as to what may be causing the player to be benched a lot.

“Brutal: Kawhi has been ruled out for tomorrow’s game and there’s still no word on when he’ll return from injury. Clippers are 4-10 this season.” Legion Hoops tweeted.

“Maybe he finally decided to plant some trees. I mean he’s getting paid millions for it. (laughing with tears emoji)” one fan said.

“I honestly feel like I keep reading the same tweet over and over again for the past 4 years” another fan joked.

“He’s been injury prone for several years now. I can’t believe he’s still even in the league TBH…but when he does play, he’s still pretty vicious” one more fan pointed out.

Despite Kawhi Leonard’s injury, the veteran hooper is being considered one of the most essential players by the Clippers, even if fans don’t think so. However, with the player missing out on plenty of game time, perhaps the team may consider a trade pretty soon.

NBA Fans Feel It Is Time To Trade Kawhi Leonard

On another note, many NBA fans believe that the time has come to trade Kawhi Leonard, particularly given the player’s recent absence from several games due to an ankle sprain. The Clippers have not churned out any rumors about this, thus far, but possibilities might arrive soon as per recent trends.

“They need to trade him and get out of the Kawhi boat while there’s still tiny value” one fan said.

“Let’s be honest, I think it’s time to trade him man.” One more fan said.

“Move on from Kawhi. He’s a part timer now (laughing with tears emoji)” another fan echoed.

It looks like many fans feel that it is not just time for a trade, but time for Kawhi Leonard to simply hang up his boots and retire from the game altogether. While the veteran has not spoken out about this, several analysts, including Stephen A. Smith himself, have pointed this out earlier.
