NBA fans are trolling LaMelo Ball for the way he handled the recent interview with his brother, Lonzo Ball. Fans could not help but point out how unprofessional LaMelo Ball was during the interview, in contrast to his older brother.
LaMelo is actually known to be a slacker when it comes to his public personality, putting on a pretty much devil-may-care attitude in terms of his game and everything else as well. While most fans do not bother about his media training, some feel that this leaks onto his performance on the court, making the hooper more liable to technical fouls.
“Uh, honestly, just him coming in town to chill, come to the crib, you know, play the game. I love it.” LaMelo Ball answered when the reporter asked him about the best part of playing against his older brother.
“LaMelo Ball still has ZERO media training (rolling on the floor laughing emoji)” BrickCenter tweeted, sharing the viral clip.

“He looks like a 30 yr old crackhead,” one fan mocked.
“laughing with tears emoji) LaMelo Ball really does seem like he’s still learning the ‘media rules.’ Some players are natural in interviews – and some are just …honestly themselves. Why people notice it: He speaks super honestly, He’s not afraid to be funny or awkward, He doesn’t give the ‘coach-approved’ answers, And honestly, that’s what makes him entertaining (laughing face with tightly closed eyes emoji) But it also means: He can accidentally create headlines, He can get misunderstood, Sometimes he sounds like he’s not taking things seriously, My favorite part: You can tell he’s not trying to impress anyone – he just says what he thinks.” one fan explained.
“Never change Melo,” another fan said.
NBA Fans Continue To React To LaMelo’s Interview Attitude
It looks like NBA fans are actually divided on whether they like or dislike LaMelo’s attitude during the joint interview. While many feel that the hooper definitely needs some media training, others feel that he should be simply left alone.

“The Johnny Manziel of Basketball. Sad. If he just matured man…” one fan pointed out.
“I’m sure this is a choice by now. They try to train him and he sticks to his ghetto persona.” Another fan said.
“If this was ja everybody would be saying he ain’t even from the hood meanwhile we seen lamelo on tv growing up.” one more fan remarked.
Nevertheless, it seems like everyone is pretty used to LaMelo’s attitude and behavior, all because the hooper has been a public figure right from his childhood. Whether fans like it or not, it looks like LaMelo’s persona is here to stay.
