Scottie Pippen had NBA fans doing double takes after a throwback photo of him started making the rounds online.
The photo, taken roughly 20 years ago, showed the former Chicago Bulls star alongside his ex-wife, Larsa and a few friends. While it seemed harmless at first, fans quickly focused on one odd detail — a visible wet patch on Pippen’s pants — and that’s when things spiraled.
@AmeriQuinnie asked the question everyone was thinking: “Did he piss in his pants???”

@Davidskylarkk tried to make sense of it, adding, “Were they sitting on his lap right before the photo!?!”
Others didn’t bother explaining it at all. @MikeImanaga simply dubbed him, “Scottie Pissin.”

Despite the jokes, Pippen’s legacy hasn’t changed. He’s still remembered as one of the greatest players to ever wear a Bulls jersey, forming one of the most dominant duos in NBA history alongside Michael Jordan.
“We are still talking about how great your team was”: NBA fans went nostalgic on Scottie Pippen’s throwback post
The viral photo wasn’t the only reason Pippen trended recently.
Just days into 2026, Pippen shared a reflective post that read, “1996 was 3 decades ago,” which immediately sent NBA fans down memory lane.

@jtinboi replied, “And we are still talking about how great you and your the team was.”
@kingjesus17 compared eras, saying, “Bro can’t nobody in the nba today handle this defense . Not LeBron not KD not curry nobody .”
Meanwhile, @Glitchymagic focused on the end of an era, adding, “Man, doesn’t feel like it. Still feels like MJ just retired.”
For Pippen and the Bulls, 1996 was a defining year. It marked their fourth NBA championship and the peak of a run that would eventually turn into a historic six-title dynasty.

Even decades later — viral photos and all — that era still holds a special place in NBA history.
