NBA Fans couldn’t help but feel nostalgic after a throwback video showing Stephen Curry mentoring Jordan Poole went viral on X/Twitter. While Fans knew the sharpshooting duo didn’t last long, many stood firm in naming the culprit behind that breakup.
User @AmChann_ refused any pleasantries and didn’t hold back on naming that culprit, writing, “lol blame Draymond if it wasnt for Draymond KD prolly woulda came back last year too lol.”

Meanwhile, user @fvstlifej5 had the same person in mind, commenting, “Blame Draymond.” NBA Fans clearly agree that Draymond Green, the Warriors’ veteran, is behind all this.
NBA Fans really didn’t hold back when they threw shade at Green, blaming major issues of the Warriors to him.

“Then Draymond killed him,” one userremarked.
“Draymond ruined everything,” one userwrote.
“Draymond is so malignant to this league,” one userposted.
“Green really prevented the Warriors from more championships [laughing emoji]. Just imagine if Poole is still with them now, maybe they not havin a hard time,” one userremarked.
Despite the NBA Fans still not moving on from Poole’s departure from the Warriors, this wasn’t shocking for them. After all, Poole and Green, the culprit many Fans point fingers to, had a brutal fight during practice. NBA Fans saw this as the crushing blow in the relationship between those two.
However, NBA Fans didn’t stop there. Fans also pointed to how Green was also a culprit in how his former teammate, Kevin Durant, left the Warriors after 2019. Fans witnessed how this partnership went sour as well off the court, which, of course, led to KD leaving Brooklyn very soon.

Whether it is Poole or Durant, NBA Fans couldn’t help but speculate just how the Warriors’ dynasty goes on if these two stayed with them a little longer.
NBA Fans believe Poole’s departure from Warriors hurt his career
NBA Fans continue to see Poole play at New Orleans, but Fans couldn’t help but if his former team, the Warriors, had more faith in him then. The recent X/Twitter video made Fans think if Poole could’ve been better if he had been under Curry’s mentorship longer.
User @MYbusiness4422 believed the 2023 trade scarred Poole’s career, writing, “The worst thing for Poole’s career was getting traded. Not being on a team with real ambitions hurt his development. He definitely needed that structure.”

Now, Poole continues to show brilliant performances at times, but NBA Fans continue to bring up his consistency on the court, an issue that could’ve been solved if he lasted longer at the Warriors.
