NBA fans are calling out Anthony Davis for his latest comments on Nico Harrison. Davis seemed pretty cool about the former Mavs GM and even called him “my guy”. AD also further went on to state that it was Harrison who ensured his coming to Dallas.
Davis was pretty right when he said that Harrison was the brains behind him coming to the Mavs. Unfortunately, it turned out to be the worst decision for Harrison and the Mavs as well, since the AD-Luka Doncic trade turned out to be an utter flop for Dallas. Fans were not hesitating to troll Davis and remind him that it was because of his poor performance that Harrison got fired from the team.
“It was surprising more than anything. Nico’s my guy. He played a huge part in getting me here & wanting me to fulfill his vision that he saw. It was definitely tough. Me & him had a conversation. Me & Patrick (Dumont) had a conversation. It’s the business of basketball.” Anthony Davis said.

“he got fired cause of you, playing 4 out of 20 games” one fan said.
“So, his vision was AD sitting on the bench most of the season” another fan remarked.
“He played a huge part buddy he’s the only reason you are here.” one more fan pointed out.
NBA Fans Also Empathize With Anthony Davis For Nico Harrison Comments
Meanwhile, another percentage of NBA fans empathized with Anthony Davis and felt that the player was pretty justified in the way he spoke about Nico Harrison. While Davis’ time with the Mavs may not be what he dreamt of, the veteran is still standing up for his current team and Harrison who brought him to Dallas.
“This is where we as a fanbase need to show some empathy and understand that it’s totally valid for AD to feel this way. As always in the Post-Luka Era…pressure needs to be targeted at ownership and management, not the players.” one fan noted.

“He’s just happy to be away from the Lakers, real Mavs fans appreciate him” another fan said.
“Respect!” one more fan appreciated Anthony Davis.
Unfortunately for AD, his tenure with the Mavs has not gone well for him or for the fans of the team. On the other side, his trade counterpart Luka Doncic has been rocking with the Lakers, something Dallas fans can’t stop point out.
