NBA fans expressed their honest opinion on the topic of LeBron James and Dillon Brooks, in light of a recent video showing Brooks having a moment with Los Angeles Lakers star Luka Doncic.
Over at social media platform X, NBA fans argued on the topic of Los Angeles Lakers veteran superstar LeBron James and Phoenix Suns star Dillon Brooks, following a heated post-game interview that Brooks gave recently.

For some fans, they see more trade value in Brooks compared to LeBron, at least at this point.
“This might be controversial, but I’m trading LeBron for Dillon Brooks at the moment,” the fan said, proposing a scenario that would make Brooks and Doncic play together in the Lakers.
Another fan echoed the sentiment, and boldly predicted that a trade will come in the future, one way or the other.
“I’m pretty sure he’s gonna be a Laker one day,” the fan said.
One fan also got reminded of how Doncic and Brooks already had mutual respect even outside of the NBA.
“[For real], because Luka mentioned during FIBA 2023 that he has lots of respect to Dillon as well,” the fan said. “Dillon also said that Luka is also tough to defend.”
Brooks recently took aim at LeBron James after the Phoenix Suns routed the Los Angeles Lakers 125-108 on Monday, saying he refuses to “bow down” to the Lakers star and suggesting his attitude either provokes or irritates James. The exchange escalated in the third quarter when LeBron and Brooks traded words near the Suns’ bench, part of a continuing on-court rivalry that drew attention after Phoenix’s decisive victory.
Brooks, who has built a reputation as an agitator, said he enjoys playing at Crypto.com Arena and that he responds to the crowd’s energy while remaining a fierce competitor.
NBA Fans Throw Shade at Dillon Brooks After Luka Doncic Moment
Over at X, NBA fans discussed the value of Dillon Brook’s “respect” and how they are not convinced that Brook’s theatrics hold water. For one fan, they consider Brooks more of a professional wrestler than a basketball player.
“Dillion is basically a WWE wrestler playing NBA, it’s all an act and a character,” they said. “And god damn it’s entertaining as hell lol.”
Another fan, meanwhile, gave an analogy of how they see Brooks’ opinion.
“Come on, man, Dillon Brooks’ respect is worth about as much as a rotten egg,” they said.
Right now, NBA fans look forward to the latter half of the regular season, with the Suns standing at 7th in the Western Conference.
