What a way to defy average human limits. With the measurements out, Victor Wembanyama just got taller. Do not scratch your eyes. San Antonio Spurs just dropped their updated roster sheet, and NBA fans quickly noticed the eye-catching detail. A staggering 7 foot 5 inches. A full two more.

@LegionHoops broke the news, posting,
“The Spurs are now listing Victor Wembanyama as 7-FOOT-5 for this upcoming season. He was 7’3 last year…” It didn’t take long for NBA fans to flood social media with wild reactions.

@rocksar223 joked,
“By end of his career this man going to be Galactus,”
while @RapSheek added,
“Buddies gonna retire at 8’0.” The jokes kept coming, but many NBA fans couldn’t help but marvel at the fact that Wembanyama might still be growing — at 20 years old and already towering over most of the league.
The updated measurements have already been the talk of the town and NBA fans can’t help but think about how much those 2 added inches in height would help his defensive capability.
Then Galactus, the NBA fans’ humor know no limits. While most regular humans stop growing before fully becoming a mature adult mentally, Victor seems to genetically go around it.
For now Wemby’s future as a baller is still early. And with a growth spurt like that, another inch or two could be in the works next year too, if the monks and training has anything more to add to it. If he keeps improving at this rate, NBA fans might one day see the league’s first real-life superhero in sneakers.
NBA Fans React As Jaime Jaquez Jr. Dunks Over 7’5″ Victor Wembanyama
Even the tallest man in the NBA isn’t safe from being posterized. NBA fans lost it online after Miami Heat forward Jaime Jaquez Jr. threw down a dunk over the newly listed 7-foot-5 Victor Wembanyama during a preseason matchup.

The viral clip, first shared by @TheHoopCentral with the caption
“JAIME JAQUEZ JR DUNKS OVER VICTOR WEMBANYAMA,” instantly lit up X (formerly Twitter). Within hours, NBA fans flooded the comments with memes and disbelief.

@rabbitSZN2 wrote,
“2 extra inches don’t mean shiiiiiii!” while @Greendexxx piled on with, “7’5 and can’t block a role player named Jaime.” The moment was as shocking as it was entertaining, showing that no one, not even the NBA’s tallest star, is untouchable.

The dunk became an instant highlight for Jaquez, who continues to impress NBA fans with his confident play. For Wemby, it was a quick reminder that the NBA’s spotlight cuts both ways.
While the dunk may have embarrassed him for a moment, it also reminded NBA fans why every game involving Wembanyama draws so much attention. Whether he’s blocking shots, hitting threes, or getting dunked on, the French phenom keeps everyone watching — and talking — no matter what side of the highlight he’s on.
