NBA fans recently gave out their honest opinion on a comparison between brothers Ausar and Amen Thompson, and who between the siblings is better at holding on to their temper and calm.
Over at X, NBA fans talked about a video that showed a comparison between Ausar and Amen Thompson. The video showed Ausar facing on-court tension but seemingly being able to manage his temper well, while highlights showed Amen seemingly being more aggressive on-court.

For one fan, the other sibling had already practically labelled which one of them is the “evil twin.”
“Ausar told y’all that Amen was literally the evil twin lmao,” the fan said.

In the NBA today, the Thompson Brothers are both currently on different teams, Ausar with the Detroit Pistons and Amen with the Houston Rockets. Many fans seem to think that Ausar plays a more aggressive, defensive style of basketball, or at least is more intense about it.
His playing style emphasizes rebounding and disrupting other teams’ offenses through defense. On the other hand, many fans view Amen as having a worse temper than his brother.
Recently, Ausar had an overall solid game as the Detroit Pistons beat the Milwaukee Bucks by over 30 points with Ausar contributing 13 points, 8 assists, and 6 rebounds while shooting 6 for 7 from the field. Ausar has increasingly developed his mid-range shot.
Detroit’s balanced attack featured seven players in double figures, led by Cade Cunningham’s 23 points and 12 assists and Isaiah Stewart’s 19 points. Coach J.B. Bickerstaff shortened the rotation as the roster regained health, and Detroit welcomed Marcus Sasser back for a late-season debut.
NBA Fans Get Honest on Ausar, Amen Thompson Comparison
Over at X, NBA fans argued over the difference in the on-court temperament of brothers Ausar and Amen Thompson. For one fan, Ausar showing more restraint in otherwise tense on-court situations made perfect sense considering who he is teammates with.

“I mean when you have crash outs on your team you can stay calm,” the fan said.

Another fan echoed the sentiment, adding that the Pistons are doing their best to avoid a sequel to a famous NBA incident.
“Pistons already have Isaiah Stewart and are trying to avoid another Malice in the Palace,” the fan said.
Another fan, on the other hand, had a different perspective on the comparison.
“I’ve always said that Ausar probably has a really wicked temper when he crashes out,” they said. “So much so that even Amen doesn’t mess with him when he gets like that lol.”
NBA fans, meanwhile, continue to look out for what’s coming as the Detroit Pistons retain their top spot in the Eastern Conference.
