NBA fans reacted to a recent explosive performance of two-way Warriors team member Pat Spencer, who showed reliability at a time the Bay Area team was lacking its usual big names and superstars.
Over at social media platform X, NBA fans praised Pat Spencer for standing up for the Warriors in their recent game against the Cleveland Cavaliers. However, some fans still found space for humor in describing the vibes he gave from the performance.

“Guy looks like the type to turn his body camera off,” one fan said.

Spencer delivered a career night to lift a depleted Golden State Warriors to a 99-94 road upset of the Cleveland Cavaliers, scoring 19 points and drilling key fourth-quarter 3s before sinking the clinching free throws with 4.1 seconds left.
The 29-year-old two-way guard, making his first NBA start, provided the offensive spark the Warriors needed while several regulars sat out, helping Golden State overcome an 8.5-point underdog line in Cleveland.
Spencer has been known as a former lacrosse standout who became Division I’s all-time assist leader. He shifted to basketball in graduate school and worked his way through the Warriors’ G League program before earning a two-way deal and a spot on the playoff roster last season.
NBA Fans Talk on Possible Pat Spencer Bigger Warriors Role
Over at X, NBA fans argued on the topic of Pat Spencer potentially being offered a bigger role within the Warriors, particularly after he showed a breakout performance in the absence of the franchise’s usual star players.

One fan, in particular, compared Spencer to Brandin Podziemski, who also recently expressed the desire to step up as a leader within the roster.
“I love Spencer’s confidence and play, him over Podz 100%, but that quick turnaround shot down the stretch was a horrible decision,” the fan said.

Another fan likened him to one recent team member, who is also known to deliver explosive game-changing performances.
“He’s literally baby Jimmy, I’m shaking,” the fan said.
Another fan, meanwhile, is just happy that smaller names outside of the usual superstars get the attention they deserve.
“Its happy basketball to see players like Pat Spencer, Gui Santos, post,” the fan posted. Basketball is not just about star players it’s about underdog story and let’s hope they gets what they deserve.”
NBA fans, for now, continue to show support for Spencer to finally become a full-time roster member of the Warriors.
