NBA Fans this Sunday were left confused after the NBA’s All-Star reserve list contained a player whom fans think is unworthy of being there. And that star is none other than LeBron James, who Fans claim should’ve been given his spot to someone they believe is a better fit for the All-Star.
User @optifyy_ mentioned two players who they believe are more worthy of the spot, writing, “He should not be an all star lmao brooks and kawhi got robbed.”

User @501dentist also had Leonard in mind, commenting, “Ridiculous. Not even an all star. Kawaii [Kawhi] should have been there.”
For the first time in 22 years, James has been denied a slot on being the All-Star starter, but this didn’t stop NBA Fans who continue claiming that the NBA purposely put James in the said slot.
“Most pity selection of all time. No Kawhi, Randle or Sengun. All in the name of giving this bum a fake selection,” one user remarked.
“It’s offensive. He has no business being named to a team, and hasn’t been worthy for years,” one user wrote.
“LeBron was already starting for years just because of his name, his time is over,” one user commented.
“Most overrated player in NBA history without a doubt,” one user wrote.

Many NBA Fans had their minds completely set on players they believed performed better than James this season. Leonard is one example who, despite being a veteran, is still believed by Fans to be worthy of the spot due to how he gave the LA Clippers huge Ws in recent days, as well as having higher stat numbers than LBJ.
And in the end, NBA Fans deeply question whether James should’ve been on the All-Star roster in the first place. Whether the NBA wants to continue LBJ’s legacy right up to the very end, or for other reasons, is a mystery. Fans believe it is taking things too far.
NBA Fans praise LeBron’s All-Star streak amidst criticism
On the other hand, NBA Fans couldn’t help but wonder just how long James is on the league, noting that despite the recent voting results, his two decades of playing in the All-Star is something different.

User @TonyAbrahams believes James’ record is immune from being surpassed, writing, “21 straight years of starting is a record that will never be touched.”
Meanwhile, user @footballguy82 commented, “He over 40. Its incredible he still is an Allstar.”
Whether NBA Fans are in favor or aren’t of James’ being at this season’s All-Star lineup, his longevity, allowing him to still be in par with today’s stars, remains undeniable.
